What to do if your time machine is misplaced/stolen/falls into the wrong hands-The T.T.C. Staff

Any seasoned time traveler knows what a bummer it is to realize that your precious time machine is not exactly where you thought you left it and then to realize that someone else has it—well that’s just indescribably painful. But here are a few things to keep in mind should this terrible, atrocious fate befall you.

Like we said in the article on what to do if your time machine breaks down, the last thing you ever want to do in this type of stressful situation is panic. If you’re too busy panicking, when will you find the time to focus on the situation at hand?

Next you want to think back to the last time you had your time machine. Are you sure you parked it where you thought you parked it? Maybe in all the excitement that comes with the adventure of time travel, you temporarily forgot that you moved your time machine out of the way of a herd of stampeding alligators (it’s happened to us before!). In these types of cases it’s usually a good idea to keep a locator gadget of some kind on you so that you can find your time machine even if you set it to invisible mode.

Speaking of locator gadgets, it’s generally a good idea to keep one with you at all times should your time craft be stolen or misplaced, you would know where it is in time and space and retrieving would only be a matter of getting to it. Some of these gadgets can control your vehicle remotely so that your time machine could materialize wherever and whenever you might want it.

As a final reminder, (and it is probably unnecessary to remind T.T.C. readers) it is vital that you retrieve your lost time machine as soon as possible. Should a device as powerful as even the cheapest, least dependable model could wreak extreme havoc and ruin countless lives. Feel like discussiong this?
